Obituary

Mrs Cherry Tink for many years a resident of Mineral Point, passed away very peacefully on Friday morning, Oct. 6, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. W.B. Oxnam of Chicago. She was eighty four years of age last June. Although she had been failing for several weeks, nothing serious was thought of until the Tuesday before her death when she had a stroke of apoplexy which hastened the end. Mrs M.J. Dawe of this city, another daughter, was with her the last two weeks of her life. Her youngest daughter, Mrs. Joseph Hoare, with whom she had made her home previous to going to Chicago, was unable to be with her on account of illness. Mrs. Tink was laid to rest Saturday, Oct. 7, in the Oxnam lot at Mount Hope cemetery, Chicago.
