Obituary
Died Eden In this city, of consumption, on the 9th inst. Mr Philip Eden, aged 60 years. Mr. Eden had been a resident of Mineral Point about 50 ? years and as a neighbor, man and citizen, he was honored and esteemed by the entire community. The past two years he had been elected by large majorities to the responsible office of City Treasurer, which attested the great respect and confidence in which he was held.
