Philip had been a book seller/ stationer in Mineral Point - his shop was in the 100 block of High Street.
Obituary
Sad Return. Capt. Philip Lawrence and wife arrived by the noon train yesterday, accompanying the remains of their eldest child, Lulu, for interment in our city cemetery. With many other friends we extend sympathy to the bereaved parents. Though sad the cause of their coming, they will find many to bid them a hearty welcome. The funeral will take place from the residence of Geo. Wilkinson at 2 o'clock this afternoon.
